Energieinstitut an der Johannes Kepler Universität Linz
Conference Host
The Energieinstitut an der JKU Linz is a non-university research institution with a multidisciplinary structure. Every year, in about 100 R&D projects, we deal with the further development of an energy system that positively influences living, economic and environmental spaces, strengthens European economies, and reduces fossil energy sources as far as possible.
The inter- and transdisciplinary cooperation of our three departments – energy economics, energy law, and energy technology – enables a comprehensive and interdisciplinary holistic analysis of the (future) topic of energy.

Johannes Kepler Universität
For almost 60 years, Johannes Kepler University Linz (JKU) has been a university with strong regional roots and an international outlook. It is the largest educational and research institution in Upper Austria, teaching and conducting research in the fields of law, technology, natural sciences, medicine, education, and social and economic sciences. Around 25,000 students and nearly 4,000 employees enjoy a modern infrastructure with plenty of space for learning, research, and living at the JKU campus.

AIT Austrian Institute of Technology
The AIT Austrian Institute of Technology is Austria’s largest research and technology organisation with more than 1,600 employees working on the key infrastructure issues of the future. The AIT focuses on the two interlinked research priorities of „sustainable and resilient infrastructures“, particularly in the areas of energy, transport and health, and the „digital transformation of industry and society“, working closely with industry and clients from public institutions.

University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria
The University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria is one of the leading universities of applied sciences in the country and offers a wide range of practice-oriented degree programs at four locations. Our key figures provide an overview of the size, diversity, and innovative strength of the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria.
